I provide individual online counselling sessions, creating a private and supportive space where you can speak freely from the comfort and safety of your own home.
I support people working through a wide range of emotional and personal challenges, including:
- Depression and low mood.
- Anxiety and overwhelm.
- Self-esteem and self-worth struggles.
- Lack of motivation and direction.
- Attachment issues and emotional regulation.
- Grief, loss, and life transitions.
- Personal and relationship concerns.
My name is Farhan. I have completed my diploma in counselling and I am registered as a Level 1 counsellor with Certified Practising Counsellors Australia (CPCA).
I like to sell my self as a life-skilled counsellor. I am here because your story matters here. Whether you’re navigating overwhelming emotions or simply seeking to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to walk with you—for as long as you need. You don’t have to do this alone. And you’re never too much, too late, or too broken to begin this journey.
I may be very new to this industry but my path to becoming a counsellor is founded in personal experience. I have navigated depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief emerging with unique strength that now fuels my commitment to support others. These aren't just challenges that I’ve studied—they’re realities I’ve walked through.
My approach to counselling is warm, human, and non-clinical. I believe in fostering connection, not correction. I offer a space where you don’t have to “have it all figured out”, and where healing happens through honest conversation and compassionate presence.
I offer my services free of charge, as I am dedicated to providing accessible support.
However, offering this care is part of how I make a living. If you are able to contribute, a non-compulsory contribution of $30 (or thereabouts) per session, helps me cover the time, resources, and energy needed to keep this practice going. It’s not just a donation - it’s a partnership in making accessible support sustainable.

Each counselling session is held one-on-one and online, allowing you to connect from wherever you feel safest; your home, a quiet room, even your favourite chair. Sessions are typically conducted via [Google Meet/Skype], and I’ll send you a private link before we begin. There is no need for fancy equipment, just a stable internet connection, a quiet space, and a bit of time for yourself.
In your first intake session, I will be looking forward to meeting you and getting to know who you are and what you want out of your life. I will go through any forms or information I need, and will explain professional duties around things like confidentiality and consent. Most of our first session will be getting acquainted with you, your goals and things like family background, mental health history and general environment. From there, we will probably work together creating clear goals around what you would like to work on together in the sessions, to keep therapy focused on the right things for you.
A standard session is generally 50 minutes except for the initial session. Initial sessions can vary from 50 - 60 minutes.
Everyone’s path to healing is unique and so is the pace that feels right.
I offer flexible scheduling for individual online counselling sessions, whether you prefer regular weekly support, fortnightly check-ins, or simply reaching out when you need it most. There’s no fixed formula here. We’ll shape the journey around you.
The heart of this work is to help you gradually build the insight, strength, and self-trust to take full charge of your life—on your terms. Sessions are here to support your growth, not create dependence.
This is your time, your space. I’ll walk beside you for as long as needed, always with the aim of helping you step into your own power.
